From strawberries to sweet corn, tomatoes to turnips, farmers markets offer the finest in fresh-picked produce. On Saturday, August 13, 2011, starting at 10:30 am, Le Cordon Bleu is celebrating all things fresh — and the delicious produce found at local farmers markets around the country. So join us for a cooking and preparation demonstration and Open House at a Le Cordon Bleu campus near you. Pick up tips on handling and preparing fresh foods as demonstrated by our own professional chef instructors. While you’re learning the finer points of creating spectacular dishes from wholesome, locally-grown ingredients, talk to our chefs and students to find out how you can learn the way to prepare for a career in the culinary arts.
