Texas Culinary Academy To Sponsor 8th Annual Gingerbread House Competition And Open House
WHAT:
Texas Culinary Academy (TCA) will host its 8th Annual Gingerbread House Competition and Open House. Entries must be delivered to TCA Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and will be judged on overall appearance, creativity, difficulty, execution and consistency of theme. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places, as well as a prize for Favorite in Show.
Winners will be announced during the Open House, and the winning entries will be on display through Dec. 16, 2009.
The Open House will include a holiday cookie decorating workshop, cake decorating demo, and a life size Gingerbread Santa House where visitors can have photos taken with "Chef Santa".

TCA invites anyone who’d like to participate in the competition to join! From children to professionals, this event is open to all.
