Chef Jennifer Denlinger works with local farmers

Chef Denlinger from the Orlando campus has been busy in the last couple months providing workshops, seminars, demonstrations, and taking field trips, all to educate herself and students about a variety of fruits and vegetables, and even those grown in the local area.
Recently, Chef Denlinger participated in the Florida Harvest Strawberry Tour in the Plant City area. Following the tour of some of the local farms, Chef Denlinger was walking down the main hallway of the campus when she noticed a class using strawberries from the same farm she visited earlier that day. She stopped in the class and was able to educate the students on where their product came from. It was great to see an educational opportunity present itself.
