Getting a Twin Cities Base

The twin cities offers an array of cooking styles for those students studying at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Minneapolis /St. Paul. Its restaurant scene provides chefs an opportunity to start their careers.

A great career starts with a strong base. The culinary art program at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Minneapolis-/St. Paul is based on 100 years of tradition. Students are taught from professional chefs that fuse the history of the cooking, new techniques and ideas, allowing students to explore the foundations while learning how to express their culinary creativity. The courses take students through the very basics of food safety and sanitation through the ins and outs of baking and pâtisserie. Students not only get to experience lecture style classes, but they will take what they learn in the classrooms and get hands-on kitchen knowledge. An externship in a local Minneapolis/St. Paul establishment gives students the opportunity to work and learn under the guidance of some other chefs.

Moving into a career
