It’s fitting that the place known as the “city of broad shoulders” is home to an internationally known culinary schools that has produced creative, determined and hardworking culinary and baking professionals. Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago is a workhorse of culinary schools providing its students a comprehensive, challenging education that builds upon its classic culinary techniques with a contemporary, global flair.

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago may have a rich history in the traditions of French cooking, but it’s also known for culinary innovation and education. By observing demonstrations, students are guided by attentive chef instructors into their own hands-on, applications of practical culinary techniques and concepts.

The curriculum at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago is an intensive program combining important theoretical concepts with industry-relevant general education courses. classes foster a creative and supportive learning environment. Students begin by learning basic, fundamental concepts and culinary techniques, and continue to hone their skills with more advanced topics as they progress. Often the program concludes with an externship that gives students the opportunity to practice the skills they developed throughout their studies.

When graduates apply for beginning level positions in the culinary field with a Le Cordon Bleu degree in hand, they have demonstrated their level of training and commitment. The certificate and degree programs offered by Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts in Chicago prepare students for career opportunities in a variety of culinary professions. Students can obtain either a Certificate in Culinary Arts or Pâtisserie and Baking; or pursue a more extensive degree in Associates of Applied Science in Culinary Arts or Pâtisserie and Baking.
