Spa Cooking Making Healthy Food

October 23, 2013 Aaron Colby Seattle 0 Comments

Spa Cooking Making Healthy Food

Tofu and bean sprouts may still be on the menu, but today’s spa cuisine is becoming increasingly sophisticated. This is good news for aspiring culinarians with a penchant for cooking healthy. Spa cuisine is a growing trend, particularly in cities like Seattle, where tourism and health conscious living are above the national average. It’s no surprise then that Le Cordon Bleu has a campus here.

An Ideal and Inspiring Training Environment
Our Seattle cooking school’s multicultural and global cuisine focus complements the growing spa cuisine trend and provides culinary students a good training environment for pursuing a spa chef or related career. Moreover, our campus is located within easy access to the enviable Northwest lifestyle. With a variety of outdoor recreation, cultural events and Seattle’s famed Pike Place Market, our students can inspire their passion for creating healthy upscale food while training at an internationally recognized culinary school synonymous with tradition, innovation and refinement.

Learn the Fundamentals for Success
Most importantly, students at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Seattle learn classic and modern culinary fundamentals honed by our centuries-old practice of intensive instruction and practical application. Whether students pursue a certificate in the culinary or pastry and baking arts, they’ll work in a commercial-grade, industry equipped kitchen directly alongside professional chef instructors who’ll help build their competency and nurture their creativity as they progress through the program.

On-the-Job Experience
Lastly, to culminate their formal training and refine their skills, Le Cordon Bleu students gain real-world experience through their externship. Here, students can further build their confidence and gain valuable contacts and experience that may have them considering Seattle as more than a great training destination, but rather, home.
