Culinary Scholarships for High School Seniors | Chefs.eduAs your high school graduation approaches and your first day of culinary school gets even closer, the pressure for securing scholarships and financial aid is probably very high. Rest assured! As an incoming Le Cordon Bleu student you have scholarship opportunities. The staff in our financial aid office would be glad to walk you through each of those options, some of which we’ve described below.

Foundations Scholarship

Students must complete a 500-700 word essay describing what drives their passion for the food-service industry. Two students are chosen twice a year at each applicable institution to receive a $500 scholarship.

Alumni Referral Scholarship

Ask a Le Cordon Blue alumni to write you a letter of recommendation and you may be eligible for this $500 scholarship. Three students at each applicable institution are chosen both at the April and November program start dates.

Member Scholarship

If you are a member of the SkillsUSA, ProStart, or FCCLA student organizations, you may be eligible for the Member Scholarship.  Two students are chosen a year.

Urban Leader Scholarships

This $1,000 scholarship is available to students who graduated from high school or college with 3.0 or higher GPA. Eligible students must live in larger urban city areas and their parents must not have received any postsecondary academic training.

The above scholarship descriptions do not describe all of the scholarship requirements or application details. The number of scholarships offered each year is subject to change.
