Graduation at Le Cordon Bleu Seattle!

May 17, 2011 Le Cordon Bleu General, Le Cordon Bleu, Seattle 0 Comments

Le Cordon Bleu Seattle celebrated our latest group of graduates Friday, May 13 th   at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien, WA.

The program featured a keynote address from celebrated local Chef Wayne Johnson, who is currently the Executive Chef of Andaluca at the Mayflower Hotel.  Chef Johnson is also a member of the Le Cordon Bleu Seattle Advisory board, and regularly includes our students in his many volunteer efforts.

His motivational message to our graduates had three points:

1.)    Know you can do it.

2.)    Know that there will be bumps along the way.

3.)    Remember to revisit and set your goals.

Our graduate speaker, Courtney Chatalas shared with us her journey through Le Cordon Bleu, and inspired her classmates to dream big and continue to learn.

In total, over 125 students participated in the commencement exercises Friday. The Le Cordon Bleu staff and faculty were in attendance to celebrate the event along with family and friends of the graduates.
Thank you to Chef Wayne Johnson and all those who participated in the celebration, and CONGRATULATIONS to our new Alumni!
