9 Great Kitchen Gift Ideas for Mother's Day
You want to show your mom how much you love and appreciate her and if she is a culinary arts enthusiast, there is no better way to do it then with some great new kitchen supplies. The following great kitchen gift ideas for your Mother’s Day are not the usual items you will find at your local retailer. No, no, no. These are special gifts for a special lady! You may not find them in the kitchens of culinary school in Florida, but these gifts for the culinary arts enthusiast are fun as well as functional!
- Enthusiast cooking class -there are so many topics to choose from. One thing for sure, they're fun and she'll have an opportunity to learn new techniques and the proper way to perform them.
- Under cabinet iPad Dock – Does your Mom (or wife-mom) LIVE as if she is attached to her iPad? No problem. For about $90.00 UDS, you can get her a dock for her iPad that secures neatly under a cabinet in the kitchen. Cool, huh?
- Cookbook, like “Cooking for Geeks” – This IS a real cookbook. But remember, if your mom or wife-mom likes to cook but is rather, shall we say, limited, you can never go wrong with a good cookbook. And if she is a great cook, “Cooking for Geeks” will make a fun gag (and she may even try some of the recipes, which are great BTY).
- Star Wars toaster – So this one is a little weird, like putting food coloring in the rice pot when it is cooking weird. This toaster features the Star Wars logo on a shiny silver exterior, but when done, out pops two slices of toast complete with an image of Darth Vader. Right, I always wanted a slice of that guy.
- Ice straws – Ok, this may seem crazy, but would having straws made of ice be rather pointless? Still, for the mom with everything…
- LED Faucet Light – This one is fun. Remember the lights under cars that were popular a few years ago? This is similar, but when you turn on the water faucet, that is what your water looks like…the underside of a car. Kidding. These are cool.
- Refrigerator pets – OK, so you mom likes pets. Great, now she can have one for her fridge. Unlike pet rocks, however, this pet will speak to you. That is right, leave the fridge door open too long and your pet will let you know. It will utter something like, “What? Were you raised in a barn?”
- LOL Magnetz – Now you have a mom that either likes to think she is internet savvy or knows she is just the opposite. Not a problem. Since all moms like fridge magnets, why not get her the LOL Magnetz? These are fridge magnets with various common Texting words, like LOL, BRB, TTYL and so on. Catchy and educational all in one.
And there you have it, you will have fun picking out these great gifts and your mom will love receiving them. If she would like to take her love of the culinary arts even further you could always offer to enroll her in a class at culinary school in Florida.
