On October 1st, 2011 the Battle of the Burgers took place in Virginia Highlands. Chef Harrar and Chef Gruber were part of the judging panel to determine the top burgers in the Atlanta area. Chef Hays assisted Chef Harrar as a chaperone for our student volunteers. Thanks Chefs! All of our student volunteers were professional, looking sharp in full uniform attire, and represented themselves and LCB Atlanta in an outstanding way. All the students I spoke with really enjoyed the event and a few made employment connections!
The day of food, music and fun with 25 restaurants was for the purpose of supporting Embraced.
The mission of Embraced is to ensure that all people have access to quality orthopedic and prosthetic medical equipment that can improve the quality of their lives.
