Welcome to Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Los Angeles
LA needs no introduction. From food trucks to 5-star dining, we have one of the most dynamic dining scenes in the country. Los Angeles’s culinary influence can be felt across the country, and we are proud to be part of that influence.
Convenience and state-of-the-art facilities
We are conveniently located 20 minutes north of downtown LA, we are within easy walking distance to several bus lines and many metro rail stations.
Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles occupies three campus buildings totaling 105,000 square feet. We have 17 teaching kitchens filled with industry-relevant equipment, 12 classrooms, and a beautiful Learning Resource Center with over 60 computers. To ensure our students get the individual attention they need, we work to keep our class sizes small. Our current average class size is around 17 students per class.
The company you’ll keep
Our Lead Chef Instructor overseeing the Cuisines Department is Chef Richard Hanna. He is the owner of R.A. Hanna, LLC, which provides hospitality consulting to the accounting and banking industries and operates the Mission Bistro Restaurant Company specializing in contracted food services.
All of our Chef Instructors come from diverse backgrounds within the culinary community. Alumni include Chef Bill Yee who currently works for the Langham hotel and Holly Ugalde who won the popular show Hell’s Kitchen in 2007.
We work closely with numerous companies and organizations to assist our students with possible employment and externship opportunities. Disney World also does semi-annual recruitment events here at our Pasadena campus for externship opportunities.
* Our school has an articulation agreement which allows our graduates to transfer into a Culinary Management BA online program offered by Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Scottsdale (ACICS/ACCSC Accredited). This articulation agreement is a formal, written document that defines how courses taken at our school can be applied towards this online program.
