Convenience with state-of-the-art facilities

We are located on the top floor of the Galleria Building, which dates back to 1910 and is part of the first-ever retail block in Portland. It is in the heart of downtown Portland easily accessible via Trimet bus, train or street car, within the famous food card pods featured on the Travel Channel and the Food Network.

All of our programs at LCB Portland have “Exemplary” status with the American Culinary Federation and our campus is utilized as the site for regional practical and written testing for chefs seeking certifications.

The company you’ll keep

We have 12 fulltime chef instructors, including a two-time Eastern Region James Beard award semi-finalist and a graduate with the Grande Diplôme in pastry and cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu Paris. Several of our chef instructors make ongoing appearances on local morning shows.

We have strong relationships with local chefs and employers in the industry. This includes an exclusive 3-week stage program relationship with Urban Farmer and Departure restaurants, properties owned by the Sage Restaurant Group. Both restaurants accept our students for 12-week pastry and culinary externships. Other notable properties who have accepted externs are Ringside Steakhouse, St. Jack, Imperial Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Southpark and Henry's Tavern.

* Our school has an articulation agreement which allows our graduates to transfer into a Culinary Management BA online program offered by Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Scottsdale (ACICS/ACCSC Accredited). This articulation agreement is a formal, written document that defines how courses taken at our school can be applied towards this online program. Contact an Admissions Representative for more information.
